An Artistic Celebration of Breast Cancer Survival
Conference Room A

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Center for Health and Wellness

New Jersey sculptor, Mary Ellen Scherl, is inviting breast cancer survivors, women and men, to cast their chests for "mamorial", an artistic project designed to encourage healing and to celebrate survival. Casting of survivors' chests, whether post detection, prior or post surgery or reconstruction will be offered to our community. The molds will be made into resin life casts and exhibited at our Center for Health and Wellness in October, 2007. The artist's goal is for each unique cast to become part of an exhibit which will travel across the country assisting breast cancer survivors to memorialize and reclaim their bodies as well as raise public awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Join us for a day of fun, pampering and companionship. Lunch will be served.
